Our Story

3rd Quarter of 2023, it was a hot sunday afternoon in the 1st month of the quarter, I was low on cash and needed some items for fair prices, hopped on to Instagram, not knowing what to search for, it was difficult to find available deals from businesses; since it wasn't designed for shopping and I was also feeling reluctant to visit all nearby shops to find the right deals.

I also Visited Jiji.com.gh but as we know, the Jiji platform has more ads on cars, electronics and gadgets, and usually from individual sellers. You don't really get good deals often.

After few hours of back and forth, I realised there was no specific platform to find deals and promos apart from waiting on a social media promotion ads, or looking through the newspapers for newsletters, etc which is uneffective.

There came the thought of designing a deals platform. Where buyers/shoppers easily find offers and promos nearby. Which brought about Shopnscan.
